As mentioned in the "Introduction", John K. Crellin's book about the Wellcome Institute's medical ceramic collection really left an impression on me - finally a reference book talking about 19th Century ceramic feeders in depth (as well as other topics ofcourse) .  Below are pictures of some of the collection described in the book.
